Started with truffle ricotta. Then we both had filet cooked to perfection. Asparagus and roast potato- wonderful! Cherry & chocolate gelato! All delicious! Our plates? Empty! Our tummies full! If you want a great meal, just go. You won’t regret it. Where you save on the booze (BYOB), spend the extra on the delicious food! Great service!

Absolutely can’t say enough worth a visit! Food is delicious. Sorry for the messy plate photo’s, they came out looking like they should be in a magazine but we started digging in too quickly and then grabbed some quick photos. Service was amazing. We ordered the whipped ricotta, lobster bisque, spicy rigatoni, charbroiled broccoli and the bouillabaisse. All are a 10 out of 10! Will absolutely be back. Also a BYOB which is awesome. Liquor store 2 mins down the street. From out of town and will make the drive to come back!

This is the place Toms River has been waiting for. The entire experience was amazing. Our waitress Amanda was great and very attentive to any food allergies my wife had. We had the wedge salad, Mac n cheese and the short rib special. The short rib was the best I’ve ever had. The desserts all freshly made in house and were also very good. Chef Garcia and his team in the kitchen crushed it!

First time dining at Rue 561 and it couldn’t have been a better choice for Valentine’s Day. Even on one of the busiest nights of the year, everything was absolutely fantastic. We started with the strawberry salad and the whipped ricotta — both fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to kick off the meal. For entrées, the NY strip was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor, and the pork chop scarpariello was outstanding — tender, savory, and perfectly balanced. Each course somehow managed to top the last. We finished with the sticky toffee pudding, which was the perfect sweet ending to an incredible meal. For such a busy holiday, the service was attentive, smooth, and truly impressive. We’ll definitely be back again and again. Highly recommend

Went to Rue 561 and had Chris was our server and the food was absolute amazing! The flavors were so delicious and clean. I really enjoyed their special items. The scallops were cooked PERFECTLY! The atmosphere was clean and relaxing! Highly recommend!!

Great New Years Eve dinner, well timed out, not rushed and the service was great. All the food was very well presented and tasted great. Definitly a contender for.one of the best restaurants in town, something TR needed. Keepnupnthebgreatbwork, we will be back.

Wow, what a gem tucked right off Route 37! My wife and I had one of the best meals of the year here. We went with the weekly special (yes, their menu changes seasonally), and it was absolutely delicious. We had the short rib with gnocchi and a filet mignon with asparagus and potatoes—honestly, 12/10. Everything was cooked to perfection. The owner is such a kind, welcoming gentleman, and our waiter made the experience even better with attentive, friendly service. This place definitely deserves more love—if you’re looking for a fantastic meal with great service, this is it. Yes, chef!

Great atmosphere, excellent service and the food was incredible. We went for our anniversary and absolutely loved everything. The arancini were huge for an appetizer and delicious. We both got the gnocchi special and it was so flavorful and rich. The Gelato was the perfect ending to the meal. Highly recommend, we'll definitely be back.
